BC election candidates 2026
There is no official candidate list yet because no BC provincial election has been called. Official candidates appear only after nominations close. Here is how the process works and where the record will be.
Where things stand
Under Elections BC's process, candidates are nominated once an election is called and confirmed against the official record; see Elections BC candidate nominations. Until then, parties may announce or nominate people, but those are party announcements and not Elections BC records.
BC Vote Watch will keep the two apart: official candidates (Elections BC record, dated) and announced or expected candidates (party or candidate statement, dated and linked).
Who is leading the parties

There are 93 electoral districts in BC; each elects one MLA. Riding information is on the BC ridings page.
